A successful youth program isn’t all youthgroup games, not by a long shot… but the games are definitely part of it!
Whether you’re looking for icebreakers to start your evening meeting, planning a youthgroup games night, want some games to go with your lesson, or need some youthgroup games to round out your event, we’ve got ‘em here.
All of our youthgroup games have been teen-tested and leader approved. It’s all the stuff I’ve used in my own youth programs, plus the stuff you all have sent in.
The youthgroup games we have here are of all different sorts and flavors. You’ll find icebreakers, both high energy and low energy games, physically active and more contemplative games, creative games, cooperative games, and games that are specifically designed to go with a certain Bible passage or topic.
youthgroup games aren’t just time-fillers. They bring your group together. They help introduce students to new faces, allow them to meet challenges together and cheer each other on, and create laughs and memories within the group.
youthgroup games is just another step in that process of melding your group together into a young expression of the Body of Christ.
Our list of youthgroup games is always growing and we invite you to be a part of that growth. If you’ve come up with, or know of, an awesome game that you’d like to share with your fellows online, please send it to us at WhereverItPleases –at- Hotmail.com. We’ll put your name on it and allow everyone to benefit.
When I went to seminary, I was told that a pastor had to always be ready to do three things – pray, preach, and counsel. When I became a youth pastor, I found all of that to be true, except a youth pastor also always needs to know a lot of youthgroup games!
So to all of you youth leaders out there, whether you’re paid staff or do it just because you love God and the kids, these games are for you. We hope that you find something new and exciting here to share with your group.
And don’t forget to check out our youth lessons and other youth activities too. We’re working hard to provide not just youthgroup games, but resources for each part of your program.
Thanks, and may God’s Spirit be with your spirit each time you lead those awesome youthgroup games!
